Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc has successfully renewed its ground handling contract with British Airways at Lagos and Abuja airports, spanning the next five years.
In 2020, British Airways shifted its ground handling contract to SAHCO after over 40 years in Nigeria, recognizing SAHCO’s unmatched services.
After rigorous audits, British Airways chose to extend the contract for five more years, acknowledging SAHCO’s superiority among all ground handling companies in Nigeria.
The renewed contract entails SAHCO providing Passenger, Baggage, Ramp, and Cargo Handling services, along with Warehousing at both Lagos and Abuja airports.
British Airways, the UK’s flag carrier airline, headquartered near London Heathrow Airport, expressed confidence in SAHCO’s capabilities.
Basil Agboarumi, SAHCO’s CEO, pledged to uphold high-quality ground handling services, leveraging a well-trained staff and cutting-edge Aviation Ground Support equipment.
SAHCO’s commitment includes expertise in Departure Control systems, Passenger Check-in, Boarding, Load control systems, and handling lost baggage with proficiency in World Tracer and Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS).
